Dr. Gribbons was a genetic scientist who used human brain tissue to create bizarre creatures based upon early 19th century company mascots.
Personality[]
Gribbons was a madman who tried to play god. He had no love for his creations and had no problems killing any visitors to his farm.
History[]
Dr. Gribbons owned a farm in the Cursed Earth where he originally brewed wine till at least 2093. Shortly he began experimenting upon travellers, using brain extracts to create bizarre abominations based upon early 19th Century brand mascots he had seen in old pre-Atomic War magazines.
When Spikes Harvey Rotten and Judges Dredd and Jack visited Gribbons farm they saw him executing one of his creations. Dredd tried to help only to be attacked by farmhands, after killing one of them Dredd is picked up by one of Gribbons servants designed after the Jolly Green Giant. Afterwards Dredd and the others were rendered unconscious by Gribbons who then strapped them to operating tables to extract brain fluid from. As Gribbons prepared his tools, he was knocked out by Dredd who had not been properly tied down. As Dredd and co. escape, Gribbons manages to set off the alarm.
Dredd and the others kill the guards and make it outside. Dredd spots Gribbons running through the courtyard chasing after three Akli-Kids. Gribbons shoots two of them before Dredd makes it over, resulting in a brief fight. Gribbons knocks Dredd down and prepares to shoot him only for the surviving Alki-kid to jump in front of the gun barrel which explodes and kills both Gribbons and the Alki-kid.

- Gribbons design is clearly based on the KFC Colonel mascot.
- His personality also seems to be based on Dr. Moreau from the novel 'The Island of Dr. Moreau'.
