Inferno was a popular blood-sport that followed on from the dying popularity of Aeroball. Unlike Aeroball, the sport was deadlier and had a far higher body-count and required players to wear heavy body armour to decrease risk of injury.
After the popularity of Aeroball had faded, Inferno took the world by storm and became the newest hot thing. Players would be split into three categories; the Cavemen, who acted as goalkeeper and would use a large club to deflect the ball, Flyers acted as strikers and used jet-packs to fly around, Bikers acted as defenders and used projectile grappling hooks to hold down the opposing teams Flyers. Inferno proved popular for a while, however after the Hellcat Murders the sports popularity quickly waned.
