Ueno Hama was a Mark IX Simulacrum robot built in Mega-City One that acted as a sleeper agent in Hondo-City. It unfortunately went haywire and went on a killing spree, taking out anyone that was on its hit-list, something that was only meant to happen if war broke out between the two cities.
Personality[]
Hama was likely programmed with an individual personality, however after being damaged it becomes an emotionless killing machine following only its basic programming.
History[]
Hama was built and placed during McGruder's first run as Chief-Judge. He is badly damaged however during a scaffolding accident. After this he begins to follow out his standard programming, in doing so he began to assassinate key members of the Hondo elite. Something only ever intended if war broke out between the two Mega-Cities. Judge Dredd is called in to take out the rouge sleeper under the guise of a diplomatic visit.
His first target was a munitions manufacturer, Hama place a bomb under the man's seat during a sumo-wrestling match which killed several people,including is target. He then kills a professor, piercing his neck with chopsticks, during this however he is caught on camera and identified by the Judge Inspectors.
He then goes on to kill a physicist in her home, who's body is discovered by Dredd. After being informed that the next target was only a few buildings away, Dredd rushes to the scene and catches Hama fleeing from the Judge Inspectors after having decapitated his latest target with a katana.
Hama is badly damaged during its escape, knowing it was going to soon brake down it decides to carry out its last moments following its commands and tries to snipe the top Hondo-City lawman Judge Inspector Sadu from a rooftop. Dredd spots the assain and shoots Hama off the rooftop before it has a chance to kill Sadu. Hama flees but ends up near to a fuel storage tank, using this to his advantage Dredd shoots the tanker which explodes almost instantly and incinerates Hama.
